Are you an experienced Aircraft Mechanic? Have you worked in a line or base maintenance environment?

Our client is looking for several Aircraft Mechanics to join their team on a 6 month contract.
 
Responsibilities - 
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and functional tests on Airframe and Engine systems under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Complete all assigned tasks promptly to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Accurately complete the aircraft technical logbook, maintenance documentation, work packages, and zonal handovers within prescribed timescales, in conjunction with the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Report any technical issues, discrepancies, or other concerns to the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within assigned work areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
- Report all incidents and occurrences in the Safety Management System.
- Be prepared to undertake any reasonable activities as required, including assignments away from London Gatwick.

The Technical Engineer serves as the primary contact for my clients production staff at London Gatwick, overseeing the preparation and execution of customer maintenance tasks. This position involves a rotating 12-hour day shift at their London Gatwick Hangar facility
 
Responsibilities:
- Technical Query Resolution:
- Triage and resolve technical queries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
- Liaise with OEMs and customers as needed.
- Customer Representation:
- Represent the Gatwick team at all required customer meetings.
- Serve as the main contact for customer technical representatives to meet their requirements.
- Collaboration with Production Planning:
- Work closely with the Production Planning Team to ensure deliverable plans are executed.
- Assist Production Planning during periods of sickness and leave.
- Role in Growth and Improvement:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures.
- Support project work aimed at continuous improvement.
- Technical Assistance:

- Technical Assessments:
- Assess customer-provided work scopes to ensure they fall within capability.
- Consider potential challenges such as required skills, tooling, access requirements, and NDT.
- Maintenance Data Oversight:
- Oversee the transcription of customer/CAMO maintenance data into approved work packs.
- Ensure the accuracy of all supplied data from customers/CAMO.
- OEM Communication:
- Communicate with the OEM/Type Certificate Holder on behalf of the customer if required.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor compliance through sampling.

Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a Base Maintenance / Modifications Technical Services role is highly desirable.
- Previous experience of using the AMOS system is preferable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Previous experience with major structural and/or avionic modification inputs is desirable.
- Experience working with 737, 787, and/or 777 aircraft is preferable.
- Hold an EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Licence and/or an Aircraft Engineering Degree.

THE ROLE:
This role would be ideal for a Computational Biologist who has experience in developing algorithms and data pipelines focused mainly on structural biology.

The focus for this position will be collaborating with research engineers and other computational biologists to develop new and innovative approaches in molecular modelling, protein interactions, protein designs, and other related domains by utilising technical, analytical, and research skills.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the development of classical modelling algorithms and machine learning, an understanding of the underlying bioinformatics and business problems, and a desire to identify and harness the right technologies to solve problems, improve the existing solutions, and support the commercial deployment.

You'll help develop and implement computational biology tools and software to support the clients platforms and get involved with multi-functional teams in order to deliver proof of concepts and minimum viable products, in addition to ensuring continuous improvement for existing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement and deliver complex pieces of research and engineering in the area of computational biology.
- Use classical and/or deep learning biology tools and large biological databases to perform protein design, molecular modelling, and other relevant tasks.
- Communicate and collaborate with research engineers in a multi-functional team with an open-minded and research-driven aptitude.
- Conduct rigorous data analysis and statistical modelling to understand the underlying architecture of biological data and hidden biases in machine learning models.
- Report results clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
- Understand and follow the latest developments in both biology and machine learning for structural biology and relevant applications.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and modular code together with concise documentation.
 
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Master, PhD degree or equivalent experience in Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science or related scientific field.
- Extensive experience working with large biological datasets, databases (PDB, Uniprot, etc.) and their API technologies as well as some hands-on experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or deep learning applied to biological problems.
- Good software engineering experience (Python, Docker, Linux, Git).
- Experience working with structural biology-related tools such as PyMol. 
- Experience with protein structure modelling and/or simulation is desired.
 
Relevant areas of experience might include but are not limited to, direct application computational methods (Deep Learning or Classical) to protein engineering, drug discovery, investigation of allosteric interactions or other functionally important conformational changes in biological molecules, structure/design prediction for proteins, analysis of effects of mutations on protein function and interactions, sequence/-or-/structure based evaluation of protein-based signalling, modelling of protein-protein interactions, or study of fundamental biophysical problems, such as protein folding.

I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and growing laboratory software vendor as an Implementation Manager, responsible for ensuring that their various projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while continuously improving processes and managing implementation profitability.

The ideal candidate for this role with have an excellent understanding of laboratory operations within the industries that the company primarily operates in (clinical, environmental, water, forensic), coupled with experience in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2. Prior experience working for a laboratory software or instrument vendor will be looked upon highly favourably.

Key Responsibilities:
- 1) Project Management and Execution
1. a) Oversee the planning and execution of small and large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
