This position will join a team responsible for early career pilot training products.
  
Come be a part of a team of subject matter experts and instructional system designers to develop and maintain flight training courseware. The Training Systems Integrator position is a subject matter expert and technical writer to assist with developing and maintaining content for early career airplane pilot training materials.
  
This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 1-2 days every week at Welwyn Garden City, UK.
  
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise to develop ICAO, EASA ATPL/100 KSA training materials
- Collaborate with instructional systems designers and graphic designers to create training materials as a technical writer
- Review courseware, instructor materials, and supporting documentation for technical accuracy
- Analyze training requirements to provide technical content to support learning objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry resources
- Review comments and collaborate with team to reconcile conflicting inputs
- Research, document, and provide technical information to support and update established processes
  
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- 1 or more years of experience as a Pilot/Instructor with EASA APTL or Part 141
- 2 or more years of experience developing Pilot Training material
- 2 or more years of higher education
- Fluent in English
  
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or education
- Experience with Quill
- Experience working with Instructional System Design methodologies
- Experience writing and editing training materials or technical documentation
- Experience writing and developing online training modules
  
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary:

Commercial Manager Responsibilities In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:  

  • Manage the Business Unit revenue and cashflow with forecasted vs. actual monthly reporting and comply with Business commercial governance. Issue the as defined Commercial reports per pre-agreed timelines and dates.
  • Agree the optimum commercial structure to support the Business Unit & the Business overall (Group BD and Estimating support on an ad-hoc basis) with the Group Comm. Dir. / BU Commercial Lead.
  • Implement the optimum structure and train the Commercial Team.
  • Recorded weekly meeting with the Operations Manager on key deliverables for the Business Unit.

  • Evaluate the Tender Bids when the business “get to the table” for Gap Analysis.
  • Evaluate Contract position of “likely win” bids with the Group Contracts Lead and lead negotiations with Client representatives with a clear understanding of the businesses position on liabilities and risk.
  • Interpret contract rights & obligations and evaluate technical/financial risks for management reporting. Implement contract guiding policy & ensure all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.

SUMMARY
Our client is currently in the advanced stages of their first production run and are looking for a manufacturing engineer to lead the interface with their contract manufacturer and supply chain. The successful candidate will help define production strategy and provide design for manufacturing requirements to the design team for future products.

The role is ideal for a manufacturing engineer who is looking to develop themselves into a production leader over the next few years as volumes and product offering steadily increase. This will involve working in the Bathgate office, frequent visits to local contract manufacturer based nearby, and occasional off-site visits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the interaction with our contract manufacturer and ensuing that it produces a correctly built and tested product in the required timescales.
- Create design for manufacturing processes and attend design reviews to assess design for manufacture self-test capability.

I am working with an award-winning and leading Aviation company who are needing an Cognos and ODI Developer to join them on a short term contract working with their customers. 

This will be a 6 month contract initially with the potential to extend. 

The new technology stack is an Oracle database, with Oracle ODI and HVR for data integration. Cognos and PowerBI will be used to provide reporting and dash boarding. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team to support the build and then maintain the operational availability of the data warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Design, development and sustainment of new Oracle ODI feeds
- Monitoring and support of the Oracle ODI environments
- Migration of database schemas & data from the existing warehouse using tools such as ODI and HVR
- Development of SQL routines to import new data feeds into existing data models
- Transfer and rebuilding of Cognos reports
- Sustainment of the live ODI environment including monitoring performance, ensuring data quality and resolving issues
- Ensure adequate performance and minimal downtime of Cognos environments carrying out daily checks as required
- Ensure customer Incidents & Service Requests are resolved within prescribed Service Level Agreement’s
- Develop data models in Framework Manager along with reports and dashboards in Cognos Analytics
- Monitoring and support of the Cognos-based IBII (Integrated Business Intelligence Infrastructure) environments 

Required Skills: 
- Knowledge and experience of building ODI routines and maintaining a live ODI installation
