Senior Frontend Engineer (Computer vision)

Cubiq are partnered with a start-up leader who specialise in creating realistic human avatars. The use of which spans apparel, biomechanics, virtual reality, film and more. They are building a leading machine learning and computer vision team to model the nuances of human shape and movement. You will be part of a start up in an exciting industry that is growing and be able to learn key skills within the AI and computer vision space.

As a senior frontend developer you will form part of a talented software team developing web applications and APIs for customers around the world. You will implement the use of modern web technologies building infrastructure and interfaces that are flexible, scalable and maintainable. We are looking for candidates with experience / interest in non-rigid analysis and statistical modelling of body shapes. You will work with the recognition, capture and analysis of motion of humans (and also animals)!

Requirements:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience 
- Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js
- Experience with REST, HTML 5 and CSS
- Strong understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques
- Master’s or PhD degree in relevant field (Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science)
- Experience with version control, CI/CD and testing frameworks
- Desirable experience: Three.js, 3D assets, WebGL and Astro.js
