We’re working with a stealth-mode startup who are using advanced speech-to-speech machine learning technology to disrupt the contact centre space. Their technology effectively softens accents and eliminates background noise within call centres to aid understanding. They have raised a significant amount of funding, and are ready to scale.
  
The startup was founded by 3 Google heavyweights in the speech space and they have pedigree – having sold 4 tech startups closing over $500M in deals. Their platform aims to give millions of call centre agents better economic opportunities by clarifying their speech, increasing audible understanding for all.
  
They are looking to add a Machine Learning Engineer to help improve their speech-to-speech deep learning model. You will work with top talents within the Speech world, helping to build out the next level of model infrastructure within PyTorch. Be part of a team, building and optimizing model architecture, parameter tuning and training, and running experiments.
  
To be successful in the role you will have experience in text-to-speech, voice conversion or synthesis, as well as a strong academic record.
  
Knowledge of the following is desired:
- Google Cloud Platform
- DataFlow and Beam
- Vertex AI
- PyTorch
- Python
- Familiarity with audio data processing
- Familiarity with machine learning models in speech
- Experienced in large data processing
- Efficient ingestion of large datasets
