Account Manager - Defence Sector

Are you a strategic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales within the Defence sector? We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our client, a leading organization in cutting-edge technologies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Cultivate Sales Opportunities: Spearhead business development initiatives within the Defence sector, leveraging your expertise to uncover and develop potential sales opportunities for our client.
- CRM Management: Utilize customer relationship management tools to meticulously oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to the receipt of purchase orders, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers and technical evaluators, fostering a positive network of contacts that enhance our client's market presence.
- Capture Management: Lead or support the identification of potential partners, conduct competitor assessments, explore teaming options, and evaluate technology or product suppliers to ensure a comprehensive and competitive bid strategy.
- Proposal Development: Establish and manage bids, delivering proposals that are not only competitive and priced-to-win but also set our client apart in the market.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal company protocols and procedures, meticulously reviewing commercial contract terms and conditions in line with our client's policies and risk management practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular, comprehensive sales reports to relevant stakeholders, including visit reports and weekly updates. Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor insights through detailed reporting in the CRM system.
- Technology and Product Awareness: Stay current with in-house technology and product advancements, ensuring a thorough understanding to effectively communicate these innovations to potential clients.
