In-house IFS Technical Consultant (Hybrid, Germany)

We’re supporting a well-established end customer in Germany that’s looking to hire an experienced In-house IFS Technical Consultant to join their internal IT team.

As an In-house IFS Technical Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the technical ownership, development, and ongoing optimisation of the IFS Applications environment, working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

You’ll play a key role in supporting enhancements, integrations, and technical improvements, ensuring the IFS platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

This role blends hands-on technical expertise with long-term system ownership, helping the organisation maximise the value of their IFS investment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within IFS Applications (customisations, configurations, integrations, reports)
• Support and enhance IFS technical components including PL/SQL, IFS Cloud custom objects, and interfaces
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the IFS landscape
• Support IFS upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure technical best practices, documentation, and governance standards are followed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience as an IFS Technical Consultant or Developer in an end-customer or IFS consulting environment
• Technical expertise in IFS ApplicationsApps10 and Cloud
• Experience supporting IFS implementations, upgrades, or ongoing system support.
• Ability to work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders
• Experience working in complex IFS environments is highly desirable
