We’re supporting a global IFS Partner that’s looking to hire an experienced IFS Service & Maintenance Consultant to join their UK based team.
As an IFS Service & Maintenance Consultant, you’ll partner with clients to design, configure, and optimize service and maintenance solutions within IFS Applications.
You’ll play a key role in implementations and enhancements, ensuring service management processes are aligned with business needs and fully supported by the ERP system. This role blends functional expertise with hands-on system work, helping our clients maximize the value of their IFS landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of IFS Service & Maintenance modules (Service Management, Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Contracts, Mobile, etc.)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand service and asset management requirements and translate them into effective IFS solutions
- Support IFS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements with a focus on service and maintenance functionality
- Troubleshoot service-related system issues and work with technical teams to resolve them
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment across service, supply chain, and finance
- Provide guidance, training, and support to end users on service and maintenance processes and best practices within IFS
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with IFS Service & Maintenance modules (implementations, upgrades, or support) (Apps 10 and Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of IFS Service Management, Maintenance, and Asset Management functionality
- Understanding of field service, preventive maintenance, and contract-based service models
- Familiarity with integrations, reporting, and mobile workforce solutions is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions that optimize service operations
