Job Title: Software Engineer (Python)
Location: London or Oxford (Remote with 1 day a week on-site)
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + share options
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

A fast-growing healthtech company is developing AI-enabled tools that are transforming how clinicians diagnose and manage a major, underdiagnosed condition affecting millions. They’ve created the first end-to-end digital solution in their field, and they’re just getting started.

They’re now hiring a Python-focused Software Engineer to help develop and scale the platform behind it all. This role offers the chance to be heavily involved in shaping the product, technical direction, and engineering culture, with plans for future progression into a leadership position.

What you’ll do

  • Build software that makes a real-world clinical impact

  • Design and scale backend services in Python

  • Deploy to AWS using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible

  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and clinical advisors

  • Have the opportunity to progress into a leadership role as the team grows

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform

  • A self-starter mindset with leadership ambitions

  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience with Ansible is a bonus
