Senior Recruitment Consultant – Software Market, US Focus

Manchester City Centre – Hybrid or Remote

Excellent Base + Commission up to 50% + Benefits

We’re currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our robotics team, working with some of the most technically advanced robotics and autonomous systems firms across the US. We currently have opportunity to specialise in the software engineering market.

This role is suited to an experienced consultant who operates with autonomy, values depth in their market, and wants to build long-term credibility in the field of robotics.

Why us?

Cubiq Robotics and Autonomy was founded in 2017, and since then we’ve grown the division to operate across a broad range of robotics applications, including humanoid robotics, warehouse and logistics automation, defence, and agriculture, and we’re actively expanding into new areas as the market evolves. Our client base is largely made up of early-stage and scaling robotics companies, many of whom are building technology that will change how their target sectors operate entirely.

Our growth in robotics has largely been organic. Strong delivery with a number of well-known players in the space has consistently opened doors into new areas, and a lot of our work comes from referrals and repeat relationships. We’re proud to operate as insiders in the market, contributing real insight rather than surface-level recruitment support.

We’ve built established networks on the ground in the US and regularly visit clients and attend conferences across major hubs including Boston and California. For someone joining the team, that access and exposure is a meaningful part of the role.

We’re driven by the goal of making ourselves unavoidable in the movement of high-calibre talent, both in robotics and across the other industries we cover. You’ll fit in here if you value an environment shaped by experience, where strategies are shared openly and there’s no single prescribed way to succeed.

What you’ll do

As a senior consultant, you’ll take full ownership of your market and operate with a high degree of trust from day one. You will:

  • Deliver the full 360 recruitment cycle, from sourcing, to BD, to candidate management, to ongoing account management
  • Autonomously negotiate terms and manage commercial conversations with clients
  • Devise and execute your own client development strategy, either aligned to existing team playbooks and successes or shaped by your own experience
  • Inherit and grow established client relationships across the US robotics ecosystem
  • Work alongside a strong robotics team with established credibility in the space
  • Contribute to scaling a specialist desk with the support of an experienced and supportive manager

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with at least one year of recruitment experience in-agency, ideally within software, wider robotics and autonomy, or a related technical market.

Beyond experience, we’re interested in how you approach your market and your work. The people who do well here are genuinely invested in the industries they recruit for, and take the time to understand how their market works, who and what shapes it, and where it’s heading in the future.

Practically, that might mean engaging with industry voices, following thought leaders, keeping up with developments in talent and people strategy, and taking the time to stay up-to-date on what’s happening in your market.

We’re interested in you being able to demonstrate what gives you an edge over the next recruiter calling the same prospect, and where you feel you add value rather than just facilitate transactions.

Aside from embedding yourself in your market, we look for people who believe in recruitment built on honesty, integrity, autonomy, and trust. You’ll fit in here if you’re someone who cares about the long-term impact you have on your market, and if you’re motivated by doing high-quality work properly rather than chasing short-term wins.

If you’re someone who wants to be seen as part of the industry you serve, not just adjacent to it, you’ll feel at home at Cubiq.
