We’re currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our robotics team, working with some of the most technically advanced robotics and autonomous systems firms across Europe. This role offers the opportunity to specialise in the hardware market within robotics.
This position is suited to an experienced consultant who operates with autonomy, values depth in their market, and wants to build long-term credibility within a technically complex and fast-evolving industry. While the desk sits within robotics, the focus is firmly on hardware engineering, making it well suited to consultants coming from adjacent technical markets rather than requiring prior robotics-specific experience.
Cubiq Robotics and Autonomy was founded in 2017, and since then we’ve grown the division to operate across a wide range of robotics applications, including humanoid robotics, warehouse and logistics automation, defence, agriculture, and industrial automation. As the market evolves, we continue to expand into new technical and commercial areas where robotics and intelligent systems intersect with real-world hardware.
Our European client base is largely made up of early-stage and scaling robotics companies, many of whom are developing physical systems that will fundamentally change how their industries operate. This includes organisations building complex electromechanical platforms, embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and next-generation manufacturing hardware.
Our growth in robotics has been largely organic. Strong delivery with several well-known players in the space has consistently opened doors into new areas, and a significant proportion of our work comes from referrals and repeat relationships. We’re proud to operate as insiders in the market, contributing meaningful technical and talent insight rather than surface-level recruitment support.
We’ve built established networks across key European robotics hubs and regularly visit clients and attend conferences throughout regions such as Germany, France, the Nordics, and Southern Europe. For someone joining the team, that access, exposure, and international market depth is a meaningful part of the role.

As a senior consultant, you’ll take full ownership of your market and operate with a high degree of trust from day one. You will:
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of in-agency recruitment experience. A background in hardware or adjacent technical markets is beneficial but not essential.
We regularly see strong transitions from markets such as electronics, embedded systems, semiconductors, mechatronics, industrial engineering, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, medical devices, or advanced materials. If you’re comfortable recruiting for complex, physical engineering problems and technical skill sets, the move into robotics hardware is a natural progression.
Beyond experience, we’re interested in how you approach your market and your work. The people who do well here are genuinely invested in the industries they recruit for and take the time to understand how their market works, who shapes it, and where it’s heading.
Practically, that might mean engaging with industry voices, following technical and commercial thought leaders, keeping up with developments in hardware innovation and manufacturing, and staying close to how engineering teams are evolving across Europe.
