Cubiq Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer on behalf of a brilliant engineering company who are at the start of an exciting growth phase across all areas of the business, especially R&D. The company in question are a young, exciting tech company looking to revolutionise products within the wireless comms industry. 

The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for the on-going development of new products which are to be taken to market over the coming years. As a relatively young company, new product development is at the top of the agenda, and this opportunity will be ideal for somebody who loves innovating and Bluesky thinking. 

My client is happy for the successful applicant to work from home 2-3 times per week

In addition to a formal qualification within Electronics, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline, you will have experience in the following: 
- A minimum of 8 years embedded C/C++ programming
- Full lifecycle development of embedded software/firmware solutions
- Familiarity with ARM and/or PIC microprocessors (or similar)
- An appreciation of hardware & schematics
- Knowledge of wireless comms protocols would be advantageous
- Working with engineers from various technical disciplines
