About The Role:
We are looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Graduate to support the significant growth of our client and to strengthen the Procurement team.

Our clients location offers exposure to all elements of the supply chain from raw material to assembly, the role presents an excellent learning opportunity for candidates with a keen interest in business management and supply chain.

You will be responsible for the procurement of a range of direct/indirect goods and services which are used in innovative automotive components supplied to some of the worlds most recognised and desired brands.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, who can prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment. You will be a confident communicator and negotiator with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

Whilst the role will have a level of day-to-day tactical and transactional focus, we are seeking an individual who can equally demonstrate strategic thinking, vision and execution against identified key commodity spend areas with a continual emphasis on process efficiency and cost reduction.

Strong supplier relationship management and communication skills are key to this role as is development and roll out of appropriate KPI’s and performance metrics.

Throughout the program you will have access to on-the-job training ensuring your competency in relevant areas is developed.
  
About You:
You will possess the following attributes:

Essential:
- Achieved or expect to attain a minimum of a 2:1 in a relevant degree
- Well-developed interpersonal and organisation skills
- Strong analytical skills and a data driven thinker
- Commercially astute
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Genuine passion for operations and supply chain
 Desirable:
- Some previous procurement experience would be advantageous
- CIPS qualified or working towards
