Cubiq Recruitment have partnered with an exciting start up company who are in the midst of developing cutting edge technology within the E-Mobility market. The company in question are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer within the embedded domain to join their small but ever growing R&D team in London, to contribute to ongoing development and safety assurance of their market disruptive technology.

Our client are embarking on a critical phase of product testing and safety/reliability assurance in the coming months, and you will play a key role in ensuring their product meets key industry standards.

In additional to a formal qualification within Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a similar technical discipline, you will be able to demonstrate experience within the following areas: 
- Experience of working with and validating Safety Related Embedded Software (SRESW) within a regulated development environment– e.g. transport, medical.
- Experience of one of IEC61508, ISO13849 or similar
- Experience of functional safety management lifecycle from requirement specification to verification and validation.
- Experience of risk-assessment and reduction to ISO12100 or similar
