Cubiq Recruitment have partnered with a brilliant R&D company who specialise in bespoke and highly specialised communications technology. The company in question are going through an exciting growth phase and are looking to expand their capabilities across research and development as they look to take an exciting new range of products to market and supply key global customers.

In the role of Electronics Design Engineer you will play a key role in end-to-end lifecycle development of microprocessor-based hardware which are integral to the communications technology. You will work with a small team of electronics engineer, but also share conceptual ideas with engineers from other technical disciplines including firmware and mechanical design. 

In addition to a formal qualification within Electronics Engineering or a similar technical discipline, you will be able to demonstrate the following: 
- PCB Design & Layout
- Digital & Analogue Circuit Design
- Prior experience of using Altium designer would be beneficial, but other similar design packages will suffice
- Experience with key hardware protocols including I2C, SPI, RS422, USB, Ethernet 
- Knowledge of FPGAs would be desirable (but additional training in this area could be provided
