I am a recruiter working with a leading company in the field of remote sensing and communication systems. They are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join their team and develop cutting-edge solutions that operate at sea and in high-security areas with limited connectivity. You will interface with diverse equipment such as radar, sonar, thermal imaging, software-defined radios and more. You will also work on exciting projects involving video processing, cryptography, machine learning and more.
 
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end server processing of their solutions, as well as collaborating with other developers on user interface, testing, configuring and deploying their products. You will also have the opportunity to learn new technologies and solve complex problems.
 
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience as a back-end developer
- Proficiency in Python 3, asynchronous programming (asyncio), sockets/networking and GIT
- Experience with Rust, C/C++ or similar languages
- A bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline (master’s or doctorate preferred)
- A passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems
- A willingness to work remotely or relocate to Monaco
