Remote - Occasional visit to site (Kent)

Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessment (PSSA), Failure modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA) and generation/updating of relevant documentation for engineering development projects.
- Assigning Function Development Assurance Levels (FDAL) and Item Development Assurance Levels (IDAL) to system's functions and components.
- Reliability and safety concept development for the new electrical powerplant for civil aircrafts.
- Generating and managing safety-derived requirements through the development life cycle.
- SAE ARP4754A / ARP4761
Nice To Haves:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering discipline - Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace preferred.
- Experience with criticality analysis and determination per SAE ARP4754A / EUROCAE ED-79 and SAE ARP4761 standards.
- Systems engineering experience to include requirements development, decomposition, and management.
- Experience with Hydrogen fuel cell technology. (not essential)
- Proficient in English.
- Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
