Embedded Systems Engineer – Software & Hardware £35,000 - £60,000 Oxford Permanent Cubiq Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf an outstanding Biomedical company who are currently looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join their R&D facility in Oxford. This is a chance to join a business who are in the process of developing high-tech equipment with real-life, tangible application which could make a lasting impact within life sciences market.
This company operate within a highly specialised engineering field, with the potential to supply highly specialised tools, systems and equipment to customers and clients across the globe. The successful candidate for this role will mainly be tasked with full lifecycle development of embedded software/firmware to interact with hardware on the board, but there may also be opportunities to get involved in general hardware design and more.
In addition to a formal qualification (preferably MEng/MSc or PhD) in electronics or a similar technical discipline, candidates should be capable of demonstrating skills and experience within the following areas:
- Embedded C/C++ development
- Familiarity with a range of microcontrollers and communication protocols
- An appreciation of digital electronics design
- A genuine passion for biotech and/or life sciences
- Previous experience of full lifecycle development
